Olympus qualifies for 24H Series

Olympus eSports took part in the 24H Esports Series qualifying round, which was held at Motorland Aragon on the iRacing service. There were 5 invited teams who were allowed to bypass the qualification due to last season’s performance. For the 15 teams who signed up, the qualifying parameters consisted of 10 consecutive “clean” laps each by two drivers, with the average lap times within 101% of the fastest average being eligible for the series.

Drivers Thomas Cope and Patrik Thomsen completed their qualifying laps with an average lap time of 2:00.939 seconds in the Porsche Cup 992, which was 3rd fastest of the qualifying group. The results was .116 seconds off the fastest time by SCHERER eSPORT. Olympus now joins 14 other teams the caliber of SCHERER, Williams Esports Academy, Impulse Racing, Wave Italy Racing and others in the prestigious series.

The first race of the season will be the 6 Hours of Spa on 1 October 2023.
