With one race remaining in Season 7 of the UK Sim Racing Porsche Cup Series, Olympus eSports has already mathematically locked the Gold class Driver and the Team Championships. Thomas Cope has claimed the Gold class title over Phillip Hammer of Team Germany, and team drivers Patrik Thomsen and Dan Sedgley.

Cope has scored 234 points to Hammer’s 155, Thomsen’s 137, and Sedgley’s 121. Privateer Danny Lee is 5th in points with 82. With the final round being an endurance round at Suzuka and a win scoring 40 points, Cope cannot be surpassed. However, it is still mathematically possible for an Olympus 1-2-3 podium sweep in the final standings.

In the team championship, Cope and Thomsen combined in Olympus Vanguard to run away with the team title. Sedgley and Silver class driver Paul Joseph Clist teaming as Olympus Titan are currently placed in P3, with 2nd place still on the table. The gap to Team Germany in P2 is 22 points and there are 78 team points on offer.

The final race will be held on 31 August.
