Olympus eSports drivers competed today in a charity event to raise funds for the Rainbow Trust, which provides practical and emotional support to families with a life threatening or terminally ill child. Drivers Dan Sedgley, David van der Waals, and Sophia Ridpath drove matching BMW M4 GT3s as solo teams in a 3 hour endurance event at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps mixing the GT3s and TCRs. Dan and David qualified on the front row, while Sophia had technical issues and started in the back of the grid. At the end of the 3 hours, Dan and David finished P1 and P2 in decisive fashion, while Sophia finished in P37.
Most importantly, the event surpassed their goal of £1000 by raising over £1420 during the broadcast.
