The Carrera Cup GB Series qualification ended today, and Olympus eSports has again added drivers to the grid. Thomas Cope has qualified for his third year in a row, and is joined in the Pro category by Daniel Sedgley, who is making his first appearance in the series. Scott Moakes has qualified for his second season in the Am category. Cope qualified 14th in his class, and Sedgley qualified 17th. Moakes qualified 3rd in his class. The 30 car grid will be comprised of 18 Pro drivers and 12 Am drivers.
The series will begin on 14 January at Silverstone, using the National layout. The schedule includes Donington Park, Snetterton Circuit, Oulton Park, Knockhill, Brands Hatch, and a outlier race at Mt. Panorama. Each round will consist of two 25 minute races, with the top 6 reversed in race 2.
