Congratulations to the Oblivion GTE team for winning split 2 of the Global Endurance Series, a 24 hour endurance race on the Daytona Road Course. The team of Matt Loveridge, Nina Hahn, Dawid Żydlewski, Vítor Brás, and Chris Stephenson won by an astounding 3 laps over the remaining competition while driving the Porsche 911 RSR. Loveridge also claimed fastest lap of the race in GTE. Colin McKevitt driving for Oblivion claimed the fastest lap for the LMP2 class, however severe damage during the race saw the team finish P11 in class. The LMP2 consisted of McKevitt, Grant Yingling, Dan Merchant, and Luis Araya. It is the first podium for Olympus eSports in an endurance event since the 24 Hours of Daytona earlier this year and the first win since the 2021 Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta. Our next iRacing Special Event will be at the aforementioned Road Atlanta in the Petit Le Mans on 7-9 October with multiple teams contending for victory in both the LMP2 and GT3 classes.
