Driver Grant Yingling got his first series win in the VMax Trophy North American Tour 2023. The series is a multi-class series featuring the Ligier LMP3 and the Porsche 992 Cup cars. Yingling is piloting the Porsche Cup for the first time in a series, and has had strong results prior to his win at Sonoma Raceway. The win moves him from P3 to P1 in the overall class championship.

Round 5 of the 9 round series will be held on Tuesday, September 26 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
